This rugged backpack is made for freeride and ski touring and is suitable for general outdoor and trekking activities.
We use nylon from the brand ECONYL® which offers premium quality and 100% closed-loop regeneration and recycled nylon yarn derived from pre and post-consumer waste such as discarded fishing nets and other nylon waste (among others coming from Norway).
The main fabric is lightweight 320D recycled ripstop ECONYL®, and has a PU coating of 2000 mm.
The pack has a large main compartment, a spacious top compartment, a sectioned compartment for your avalanche equipment, and an easily accessible bottom compartment perfect for crampons and a rope. It’s made for carrying both ski and snowboard, and you can decide whether to attach them to the side or front. You have easy access to the main compartment from a zippered entrance in the back. Here, you’ll find a dedicated hydration pocket connected with a sleeve down the carrying strap.
An integrated helmet net can be mounted on the front or underneath the pack. The net design prevents the snow from getting inside your helmet.
Other functional features include compression straps on the side, two ice ax attachments, shaped back panels, a hip belt with a pocket, and a chest strap. You can easily hide away the straps in a little slit pocket if you need the pack for everyday use.
The pack has a shorter back than the lofoten 30L with a slightly narrower shoulder strap placement.
