This 5.5/5/4 hooded wetsuit is made with natural rubber specifically developed for arctic surfing. It is also suitable for windsurfing and wakeboarding.
We use a neoprene-free 85% Yulex® natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber because it meets the rigorous cold water standards for performance, durability, warmth, and sustainability.
This natural rubber is derived from sources that are Forest Stewardship Council® certified by the Rainforest Alliance, and the synthetic rubber is chlorine-free.
For the construction of the wetsuit we use 6mm thickness Yulex in the front chest/stomach and in the mid back, to keep warm when lying on the board. 5mm in the shoulders/upper body (3x2mm on one side) and arms. 5,5 mm in the seat, crotch and front legs. 4,5 mm on the back of the lower legs. 4mm under the arms and in the hood. 3mm in the front hood. All to optimize warmth, comfort and flexibility.
The face fabric laminated on the outside of the natural rubber for durability, is solution-dyed and made with 85% recycled Polyester/15% Spandex. The liner fabric laminated on the inside of the natural rubber (in the torso/thighs/hood) has solution-dyed 95% Polyester (51% recycled)/5% Spandex with inverted microgrid thermal lining that minimizes drying time and offers excellent flexibility. The lining in the arms/legs is a high-stretch 100% recycled Polyester jersey which improves flexibility and dry time.

Key features include: An optimized hood with a comfy and good fit, fused cut sleeve ends for better quality over time, grip seal inside cuffs and bottom legs for better friction between skin and wetsuit, improved neck opening for easier entering/exit, and raglan sleeves to ensure maximum mobility when paddling.
The wetsuit has a regular fit and cutlines and paneling to ensure maximum movement. We worked with a wide range of surfers in the cold waters of Norway, all with different body types and needs to optimize the fit of the suit. The result is a technical and body-hugging fit with excellent mobility. Natural rubber-based foam has around 20% less stretch than advanced petroleum-based foams.
